Howl-O-Ween

Brighton Howl-O-Ween

A spell was cast over Hove Park this weekend. For the usual park visitor, they may have been spooked! Dogs turned into bats, spiders, pumpkins and more for the first Brighton Howl-O-Ween event!

As well as ‘best dressed’ competitions, there were lots of exciting events happening throughout the day. An attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most dogs wearing bandanas in one place was made! Sadly, we didn’t quite break the record but it was so much fun trying to.

There was also face painting and fair rides for the kids so it was a great family day out.

Baxter was busy managing his stall so wasn’t able to get up on the big stage. However, he was very happy meeting lots of his furry friends! He mingled with insta famous pets, had the occasional sniff around all the yummy food trucks and took part in record breaking!

With local press, radio and doggy VIP’s the event was buzzing and we had a lovely day. Baxter was so tired, he slept the whole car journey home back to Milton Keynes!

Thank you so much to Jennifer, our host and event organiser and Heidi from Teddy Brighton for looking after us so well. We hope to be back next year and would love to attempt to break the record for bandana wearers again!
