Top 5 Healthy Dog Treats on Amazon

Baxter doesn’t get treats often (mostly as bribes to pose nicely for Bandana photo shoots!)  so when he does, I like to make sure they are made from quality ingredients and are healthy.

As he isn’t great with grains, he is raw fed. I don’t mind the odd grainy biscuit as long as its a healthy one but I try to give him as little as possible so here’s Baxter’s Top 5 treats from Amazon. If you’d like to try them, all photos can be clicked on to take you straight to the listing.

1.Country Hunter Venison & Blueberry

These freeze dried treats from Nature’s Menu are free from colours flavours and preservatives and are grain free. A delicious snack for all dogs on all diets. Raw fed dogs can enjoy this one too!

2. J R Pet Products Variety Bundle

We haven’t tried these yet but they look amazing! Made from 100% pure meat that is human grade and in a variety of flavours. Grain and Gluten free.

3. Fish 4 Dogs Sea Jerky

Made from 100% fish skins, these treats are low in calories, remove tartar from teeth and help give a shiny coat.

4. Bounce and Bella Grain Free Dog Training Treats

These small treats are perfect for training. A high value treat such as these will get your pup learning commands in no time. With approximately 800 per bag, they should keep you going for a long time.

5. Lily’s Kitchen Bedtime Biscuits

These are the only ‘biscuits’ I let Baxter have. Made using the finest organic ingredients such as yoghurt and honey, they are good at soothing little bellies. As a raw fed dog, Baxter will sometimes be sick in the night as raw food digests quicker than biscuit and his tummy is therefore empty. Whilst you can’t feed raw and biscuit together due to the differing digestive rates, one little biscuit helps him get through the night and he is ready for his brekkie in the morning. 🙂
I hope you have enjoyed our top 5. If you have any questions, please feel free to comment below. Baxter is all tucked up and ready for his bed time treat!
